Plastic Elder Sister / Plastic Nee San
Review By: John Fragglepuss Evans
Genre: Comedy, School, Short-Form, Ecchi, Bizarre
First aired: Spring 2011, 12 short-form episodes
Summary: Based on Kurii Cha’s gag comedy manga, Plastic Nee-san is a short-form anime that follows three high school girls: Iroe Genma, Makina Sakamaki and Hazuki Okamoto. The three enjoy building plastic models and are always getting themselves involved in bizarre situations. There is a whole cast of characters in this high school that make appearances from time to time, each with their own unique personality.
I know that anime can be fairly strange in general, but this anime is off the wall. The short-form nature means that there is no down time during the episodes, so it is one odd scene after another. I was either laughing or shaking my head the whole time I was watching Plastic Nee San.
You might enjoy this if: You are in the mood for a bizarre anime that only takes 30 minutes to watch from beginning to end.
You might not like it if: You are looking for any semblance of a normal anime.
Note to the Viewer: What did I just watch?
