Seitokai Yakuindomo
Review By: John Fragglepuss Evans
Genre: Comedy, School, Ecchi
First aired: Summer 2010, 13 episodes + 8 OVA. Second season, Winter 2014, 13 episodes + 1 OVA
Summary: Tsuda Takatoshi is a seemingly normal high school boy that is starting his first year at Ousai Academy. He decided on Ousai because it is close to his home, but he did not think that it would be a big deal that he would be in the first year of boys to enter the recently gender-integrated school.
On his first day at school, before he even gets to class, Takatoshi is surrounded by girls. The train station is full of girls, the walk to school has nothing but girls and once he arrives at school he is approached by three girls, who just so happen to be the student council members. By chance he is appointed vice-president of the student council.
Takatoshi now spends every school day surrounded by crazy girls who do nothing but horrify him with their conversations about feminine hygiene products and other feminine issues. Also, the girls assume he is the worst kind of boy, the kind who doesn’t clean himself and watches porn all day long.
Seitokai Yakuindomo is the ultimate anime of sexual innuendo. Every episode is full of sexy references and overtly sexual conversation. However, there is no nudity and all visual sexiness is blocked out. All of the awkward sexual and crude content is through the day-to-day conversations of the characters in the anime. Seitokai Yakuindomo is a light-hearted anime where you can throw on an episode for a quick mood booster.
You might enjoy this if: Sexual and crude conversation makes you laugh.
You might not like it if: “Bondage Bear” does not sound amusing to you.
Note to the Viewer: You will be rewinding this anime, making sure that they really just said all of those crazy things.
